Several years ago, I had the chance to photograph Miss K…who is now a big sister! When Miss P’s mom contacted me earlier this year about pictures for her one year birthday, I was super excited! They brought a cake, I brought the balloons….we had a great time! For not getting in her afternoon nap, I thought she handled the festivities quite well!

I was sooooo excited to go to Kansas City for Brad and Cathy’s engagement session. Even though Hays offers some fun and unique locales, it’s always awesome to go somewhere new! I had so much fun with these two, and I can’t wait for their June wedding in Hays!

So I normally torture people and make them wait a full day before I blog the second half of their wedding (you know…the build the anticipation!)…but because I’m leaving for a photography conference super soon, I am going to break my own rule!
Just like their ceremony, Jeremy and Paige’s reception was full of beautiful details, and personalized touches. From the placemats to the dinner line, the entire reception reflected their love of rustic and vintage. The perfect end to the perfect day included fireworks, as the couple watched from a horse drawn carriage.

Exactly a week ago, I headed up to the Plainville, KS area for Jeremy and Paige’s outdoor, rustic-themed wedding. I love shooting outdoors, so this was a real honor to document their day. The details were beautiful, and with the help of Mona and Nel (who assisted in keeping things running), the day kept on going! Jeremy and Paige, I hope these images help bring the day back for you!

Last year, Miss M’s mom, Chelsea, contacted me about a portrait session, and we had so much fun! I was even more excited, however, when Mark asked me to be prepared for newborn and family pictures once Miss K arrived! Although we never got her to sleep, she’s still pretty cute.
You might recognize Mark as a co-owner of Northwest Signs and Awards in downtown Hays – he also produced the sign for my studio on 8th as well! I have enjoyed getting to know the Pechanec family both personally, and as fellow business owners in the Hays area.
